Welcome to
Gotham Hill Woods

Our woodland in Nottinghamshire, close to the borders of Derbyshire and Leicestershire is a pine plantation planted in the early 1980s by the Forestry Commission. Along side the Pine, the majority of the trees are Beech, Ash, Sycamore, Hawthorne, Elder and Oak.

The site is being managed with consideration for the enhancement of it's natural beauty and the wildlife that inhabit it. With some semi-ancient areas as well as glades; it has an abundance of wildlife, birds, mushrooms, edible plants and much more. We welcome guests to experience all it has to offer.

The aim is to unlock the barrier that we have with the out door world and give individuals the confidence to use it as a tool to aid mental and physical health.
